Yo Media at the APAC Search Awards 2026

This year, Yo Media is celebrating innovation, impact and a lot of hard-earned clarity. Since our 2022 APAC Search Awards success, where we won Best B2B Campaign with Tridant’s ‘SERP-risingly Good B2B Marketing’ and were shortlisted for Pearsons Lawyers ‘Results So Good, They Should Be Illegal’, we have grown up fast as an agency.

Over the past few years, we have niched deeply into law firm marketing and rethought how revenue attribution should actually work. By combining data and AI, we have stripped out the uncertainty and built systems that show exactly how marketing turns into real revenue.

Yo Media – The Agency Behind The Work

Yo Media brings senior talent and creative problem solving together, with a refusal to rely on guesswork or outdated thinking. Our remote team of eight specialists brings strategy, SEO, PPC, content and creative together with data, systems and AI to deliver results that hold up in practice

In 2025, we quietly rebuilt what a modern search agency can be.

The core of that rebuild arrived when our founder and MD, Nathan Harding, led the development of an AI-powered attribution system that shows the truth behind every marketing dollar. It was not easy – there were false starts, long testing cycles and plenty of lessons. But what emerged was a system that links every click, call and form to real billables, closing the gap between marketing activity and commercial outcomes.

We do not sell surface-level metrics. We build campaigns with clear commercial accountability. Our EOS-driven goals keep us accountable, our processes keep us consistent, and our transparency and technology keep us ahead.

Key insights:

• Eight specialists across SEO, PPC, content, design, strategy and operations

• Zero staff turnover since 2022

• Proprietary AI-powered attribution platform linking leads to billing systems including Smokeball, Clio and Xero

The Work That Brings Us Back In 2026

Winning at the APAC Search Awards in 2022 was a genuine turning point. It confirmed that our client work stood up in a crowded, competitive industry. Since then, we have deliberately reshaped how we think, operate and measure success, adding clear profit accountability to a solid foundation of strong execution. Being shortlisted again reflects that evolution and signals that the direction we chose is working.

This is the work that brings us back in 2026.

Best Small Integrated Agency (25 or under employees)

With eight highly specialised team members, we operate as a calm, experienced and deeply aligned team. Everyone owns their lane and works with real autonomy, while collaborating closely as a whole. We are responsive and highly trusted by our clients because our work is consistent, strategic and accountable.

While we are remote-first, we highly value the culture we have created. Regular in-person catchups, whether over great food, a day on the water or something a little more competitive, come with plenty of laughter and keep relationships strong, standards high, and remind us why building great work with good people is worth it.

Data, AI and clear attribution have sharpened how we think and work, but skill, judgement and teamwork drive our outcomes. The result is an agency that delivers quality work and strong commercial results consistently, and one that our team genuinely enjoys being part of.

Key insights:

  • Disciplined ownership and autonomy within a high-trust remote team environment
  • Culture as a performance driver that sustains standards, cohesion and momentum
  • Use of data and AI to inform decisions while relying on experience and sound judgement

Emerging Talent Award – Kiara La’Brooy

We are excited to see Kiara nominated for the APAC Search Emerging Talent Award in 2026. Since joining Yo Media in July 2024 after completing a Bachelor of Business and Marketing at Swinburne University, she has quickly emerged as a standout in SEO while building strong capabilities across integrated search and performance marketing. Her work in technical SEO, campaign optimisation and automation reflects strong analytical rigour and a natural alignment with Yo Media’s data-first approach and values.

Key insights:

  • Demonstrates strong curiosity, motivation and rapid skill development
  • Passionate about helping SMB’s achieve sustainable growth through SEO
  • Specialises in on-page and technical SEO while building broader marketing capability
  • Combines strong problem-solving skills with practical commercial strategy

Best Integrated Campaign – Yo Media & Avokah Legal: Guilty of Making It Rain

Guilty of Making It Rain is more than the name of this campaign – it became the reality. When Avokah Legal asked for steady, predictable growth, we removed the guesswork and built a strategy around real human behaviour: what people search when their life is falling apart at 11 pm.

We built the strategy the same way people navigate divorce today, by following a real search journey (yes – gleaning insights from our Managing Director’s actual divorce search history), mapping real questions and answering them with useful, empathetic content. Insight and raw data shaped our content, keywords and ads. From that foundation – we then solved the industry’s hardest problem  –  profit attribution without an overengineered CRM, allowing business results to be directly attributed to search campaigns.

Key Insights:

  • Campaign was built from a real divorce search journey to map true user intent
  • Structured around education-stage and decision-stage queries
  • Optimised for revenue and matter value, not leads

Most Innovative Campaign – Yo Media & Avokah Legal: Guilty of Making It Rain

This campaign required a fundamentally different approach, and challenged how marketing results are typically defined. We stepped outside of the standard agency playbook and built something new: a proprietary AI attribution system that connects every keyword, click, call and booking directly to invoiced matters.

It transformed how campaign success was measured, shifting decisions from lead volume to real revenue allowing spend to be placed where success was proven.

Key insights:

  • AI-driven revenue attribution from search to invoice
  • Confident spend increases and reductions based on proof
  • Scalable system now being productised

Best Use of AI in PPC – Yo Media & Repute Law: AI-Powered PPC: From Clicks to Real-Time ROI

This campaign began with a simple goal – to prove results, not rely on assumptions. Built for the pace of criminal law, every call, form and booking flowed into a live data warehouse, linked directly to Clio billing and analysed by an AI layer. Instead of waiting weeks, we could see which keywords generated revenue in real time. Optimisation shifted from lead volume to revenue, turning PPC into a measurable income stream.

Key Insights:

  • Real-time, AI-driven optimisation
  • Full visibility of spend at keyword and channel level
  • Revenue-per-lead replaced cost-per-lead

Best PPC Campaign – Yo Media & Repute Law: AI-Powered PPC: From Clicks to Real-Time ROI

High-intent criminal and traffic law searches demand fast, confident responses. We built a PPC system that could move at that speed. Calls, forms and bookings flowed into a central attribution hub tied to Clio, with AI connecting performance to profit at a keyword level. This visibility revealed what was working, what was wasting spend, and exactly where to scale.

Within two months of implementing this system, the client had the data and confidence to increase investment and turn PPC into a predictable growth channel.

Key Insights:

  • Same-week optimisation enabled
  • Spend scaled on proven profitability

At the end of the day, our work is centred on creating wins for people who trust us with important business decisions. These campaigns reflect real problems solved, real business growth and trust earned over time. Being shortlisted alongside peers we respect matters because it recognises results that hold up in practice, in the outcomes achieved and the partnerships built.

We’re proud of being shortlisted, grateful to be able to do this work for our incredible clients, and excited about what comes next.
