• Creating scripts to dynamically adjust Google Shopping Campaigns for Kanvas Beauty based on what items are in stock since they have limited capital and consequently carry extremely low stock per SKU.
• Targeting unique discovery terms for a law firm, ranking for ‘how much do Criminal Lawyers cost’ and “character reference guide templates’ until we could begin ranking for “Criminal Defence Lawyers” in position 1. This particular client started with one assisting lawyer when they engaged AEK Media and has now moved into an 8-room city office in just 1.5 years. They’ve now grown from just 3,000 to 50,000 organic monthly traffic.
• Adjusting Google Ads for Discount Party Warehouse at a postcode level based on which LGA was in lockdown, mid COVID-19, to allow the store to continually operate rather than closing. This included the overnight launch of click-and-collect for their stores to counteract lockdowns, and launching in-store pickup Google Shopping Ads.

The challenge
Empower Construction is a leading wall specialist in NSW, revolutionising the construction industry and acting as a one-stop-shop for external wall development. With over 15 years of excellence, providing a wide range of high-quality lightweight cladding solutions, render, paint and more, Empower Construction engaged AEK Media to maximise their digital presence and take their business to the next stage of growth.
The primary objective for Empower was to create a sustainable pipeline for lead generation and increase projects by 50% (150 leads) compared to the previous year. AEK Media broke this goal down by the following sub-goals:
- Dominate commercial intent keyword ranks for “Hebel”
A mutually agreed list of search terms: “Hebel installers Sydney,” “Hebel installation sydney”, “Hebel panel installation sydney” and “Hebel powerfloor sydney”. - Capture rankings for strategic, decision-making content
AEK Media’s goal was to secure top positions for educational and comparative search terms that support potential clients in their decision-making, like “Hebel vs brick,” “what is Hebel,” “types of cladding,” “autoclaved aerated concrete,” and “Hebel flooring price.” - Keep recruitment costs low by optimising contractor acquisition
Midway through the campaign, AEK Media introduced an additional objective to support the growing demand by also increasing supply. The agency was tasked to assist with contractor acquisition whilst maintaining low recruitment costs. The goal was to attract qualified contractors at a <$50 cost per acquisition.
The exciting approach taken for Empower captures what makes B2B campaigns challenging and uniquely rewarding. In B2B, success hinges on understanding the commercial complexities of the industry—something that AEK Media excels at. Empower is one of several installers of facades produced by Hebel. Yet, as one of the leading installers and suppliers in NSW, Empower’s online presence didn’t reflect their true market position.
The results
Empower had explored every possible route—recruiters, LinkedIn, job boards galore—yet it was AEK Media’s targeted approach on Facebook and Instagram that delivered breakthrough results, with a cost per contractor acquisition below $50 on average.

This year, AEK Media has also taken home the Silver Medal for Best Use of Search thanks to some outstanding outcomes with Oricom.
The challenge
Australian-owned Oricom has been providing communication and monitoring technologies since 2003, and has had particular success with designing and creating leading Australian baby monitors. As Oricom’s technology progressed, it was crucial for their online presence to grow alongside it.
Before working with AEK Media, Oricom lacked a holistic digital channel that they could rely on for business growth. The agency was faced with the challenge of establishing Oricom’s online presence in Baby Care categories and leveraging all digital platforms to reach their target customers while maintaining a sustainable cost structure.
Also, with no historical data to infer from, AEK Media had to map out an entire strategy to help the brand achieve a sustainable growth rate within 6 months. This newly developed website would have to go up against private-funded companies without a budget limit.
