NerdOptimize x SC Asset: From Challenges to the APAC Search Awards Shortlist

To revive and accelerate SC Asset’s growth in an increasingly competitive and challenging landscape, NerdOptimize designed a comprehensive and structured SEO strategy grounded in the Three-Pillar Approach. The objective was to build a Living-Solutions Content Engine that not only increases visibility but strengthens authority and converts interest into qualified customers with efficiency.

1. Content Hierarchy Revolution: Transforming Content Structure for Authority and Intent

The challenge began with SC Asset’s limited content coverage and existing content that lacked the ability to fully engage users. This strategy focused on building a content ecosystem that Google could not overlook.

  • Building a Content Ecosystem
    Rather than producing content in high volume, we developed the Living-Solutions Content Engine, a connected content system strengthened by internal linking to transfer authority toward core business category pages.
  • Full Journey Coverage
    Content was expanded across the entire funnel with a strong focus on the Consideration stage, supported by broader Awareness content to maximize reach.
  • Pillar and Cluster Framework
    We created high-intent landing pages, including location-specific landing pages designed for high-intent keywords such as “home office”, “single house Ratchaphruek”, and “single house Ramintra”. These pages were supported by in-depth blog articles covering cultural and lifestyle drivers like “lucky trees for the front yard” to proven massive traffic generators.
  • Financial Guidance Content
    We produced detailed financial guidance pages that compete directly with banking institutions, such as “best mortgage refinancing in 2024”. This demonstrates a deep understanding of the market and user intent.

2. Keyword Ladder Strategy: Ranking Across Every Funnel Stage

To compete against major real estate brands and financial institutions with significantly higher domain authority, this strategy focused on selecting keywords with maximum strategic impact.

  • Start With High-Intent Consideration Keywords
    We targeted location-specific, high-purchase-intent terms such as “detached house Bangna”, “detached house Ratchaphruek”, and “condo near BTS/MRT”, where user intent is clear and ranking opportunities are stronger.
  • Expand to High-Volume Awareness Terms
    After building authority in high-intent clusters, we moved up the funnel into broader awareness terms like “land plot search” and “land valuation” to capture large-scale top-funnel traffic.
  • Strengthen Relevance Through Internal Linking
    All content was interconnected to reinforce key transactional landing pages for terms like “house” and “condominium”. This structural linking boosted topical relevance and enhanced overall visibility.

3. Technical Foundation: Building a Strong and Stable Website Core

Before launching the SEO campaign, SC Asset faced multiple technical issues from a recent site migration. This strategy focused on stabilizing and strengthening the website’s technical infrastructure to ensure long-term performance.

  • Site Restructuring
    We rebuilt a clear site hierarchy and prepared URL mapping and redirects prior to migration. This minimized traffic loss and ensured efficient indexing.
  • Enhanced Schema Markup
    Key schema types such as Organization, ItemList, and BreadcrumbList were implemented across the site to help Google understand content structure and improve search result presentation.
  • Product Placement and Internal Linking Optimization
    Page layouts were refined and a strong internal linking system was established to distribute link equity and reinforce core category pages.

Technical SEO Fixes Prior to Campaign Launch

  • Sitemap Errors: Corrected incomplete URLs, redirect status codes (307, 308), server errors (500), and trailing slash inconsistencies.
  • Localhost URLs: Updated all remaining localhost links to proper production URLs.
  • Incorrect Sitemap Format: Replaced .gzip files with valid .xml sitemaps.
  • Duplicate Content: Resolved duplicate pages caused by search parameters by using robots.txt Disallow rules to conserve crawl budget and improve indexing efficiency.

From Challenges to Search Leadership with NerdOptimize

After executing the Three-Pillar Approach, the “Living-Solutions SEO Engine” delivered breakthrough results. The project not only recovered SC Asset from severe post-migration issues but also accelerated growth, strengthened authority, and positioned the brand as a rising leader in the real estate search landscape.

  • Significant Session Growth: Overall sessions increased markedly year-over-year, showing clear improvement in reach and engagement.
  • High First-Page Rankings: A large majority of targeted focus keywords achieved Page 1 rankings, meeting the core KPI of the SEO strategy.
  • Strong Organic Traffic Growth: Organic traffic demonstrated outstanding YoY improvement, signaling significantly stronger search presence.
  • Competitive Momentum: While overall traffic still trails major competitors like Sansiri and AP Thai, SC Asset showed strong upward trends and continuous month-end improvements.

2. Surge in Impressions, Clicks, and Conversions

  • Dynamic Growth in Sessions, Impressions, and Clicks: All core performance metrics rose sharply after full SEO strategy deployment.
  • Multiple-fold Increase in Conversions: Conversions rose dramatically, highlighting the effectiveness of both content and search intent alignment.
  • Consistent Quarter-over-Quarter Growth: Clicks and impressions maintained strong QoQ momentum, reinforcing sustained campaign effectiveness.
  • Content-Driven Conversions: User insights revealed that many conversions began with blog content, then moved to project pages and lead forms. This validated that SEO success stems not only from rankings but from content quality that drives real business outcomes.

3. SERP Authority Achievement and Rapid Recovery

  • Sustained Page 1 Rankings: Primary KPI keywords consistently maintained first-page positions throughout the campaign.
  • Stable, Long-Term Performance: Rankings demonstrated resilience with clear high points and stable averages.
  • Quick Recovery from Technical Dips: Minor technical setbacks were resolved swiftly, and keyword rankings, including non-KPI terms, showed strong rebound and long-term improvement.
  • Growth in Sub-Keyword Rankings: A rising proportion of sub-keywords also ranked well, expanding overall visibility and creating compounding growth.

4. Strengthened Domain Authority

  • Steady Increase in Referring Domains: Continuous PR efforts, high-quality advertorials, and authoritative backlinks contributed to sustained growth in unique referring domains.
  • Improved Domain Rating (DR): SC Asset’s Domain Rating showed a clear upward trend, reflecting consistent investment in high-quality backlink acquisition and domain credibility.
